OverPrices and Lousy Service
Took the grand sons truck in for what we expected to be a starter or alternator, they decided that it was just a battery, which was a year old. Battery was from AAA and as a AAA garage they chose not to give a discount. The said the vehicle needed a complete daigonistic check but wanted several hundred dollars to do it. Charged twice what AAA said the battery should cost and gave us back the battery to pay for to dispose of.

Horribly overpriced
Just got my Car back from a tune up, and everything was fine until they had to replace the spark plug wires. They overcharged for the wires, and the labor. Most other places I've been with other cars that needed Spark Plug wires during a tune up charge for the wires, and whichever labor is more expensive out of the two, but not labor on both if they were already switching the spark plugs out. At Greg's Garage a tune up, and an oil change originally quoted at about $240 turned into $602 once the spark plug wires, and labor were added. After complaining they found out they had overcharged by half an hour on the spark plug labor, and took the extra time off, but made no concession for charging $30 over Summit's price for the same spark plug wires. Also they also didn't make any effort to keep my business by even discounting the labor on either service. While the workmanship was good the business practices are not. First, and last time I ever take my car there I've gotten better deals on the same service at a dealership, and for less money. Steer Clear unless you like wasting money by paying way too much for service.

really bad service
absolutley horrible experience . 4 different "mechanics" looked at my truck noboby could figure out why my head lights go out driving down the road .. after charging me neary 600 dollars for a diagnostic !..Just to get the truck running decent they wanted 1700 dollars .. i could get a new engine for that..! they said i had a manifold leak among other costly things and it did not after getting a 2nd opinion....left bolts loose after dimantling my entire dash and in some cases didnt even put some back where they found them .my truck sat there for 3 days before anyone looked at it it took them 4 days longer than quoted . while i flipped the tab for the rental car...when i would call they would scramble for someone to explain. and it was never the acctual person who worked on my truck . and one time i called he could barly speak english. so in all a very dissapointing experience .. i do not reccomend this garage.

You really can count on Greg's Garage by Debra D. at InsiderPages
Our car never seems to be at Greg's Garage as long as they say it will be, so we spend less in rental car fees than we expected. I was also really impressed when we got a letter from the store making sure we haven't had any problems with the car since they worked on it.
